"We have been so well supported by the trust and each other, to make sure all our children could keep learning. It is so much more than any of us could have managed on our own." Q1E teacher

We are very proud of the quality of work our team provided during the Covid-19 lockdown and school closure period in spring and summer 2020. Please have a look at our summary of our actions during the initial lockdown

Our home learning site was accessed by children from Nursery to Year 6 across our trust and used by many more teachers, children  and parents beyond our trust too, with over 8 million hits and over 34,000 unique visitors. We are delighted to have extended our Quality First provision to so many families over this period.

"Thank you for the tremendous amount of work provided by your staff to keep the children learning during lockdown. You all so quickly rose to the challenge, and did so with absolute brio." Q1E Parent

It is example of the strength of the collaboration between our schools, and our drive and commitment to learning for all our children.

Our home learning will remain accessible for you to browse through the many activities, videos and resources - from learning to multiply, to watching our ducks hatch!

Guide to Home Learning for parents

We have provided a number of things to help your child keep learning while schools are closed. Children know they have work to complete at home and we want them to continue being "excellent learners."

For each year group learning will be provided each week (in term time) for:

For details, please go to the individual year group page for your child: Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6

The home learning provides a balance of subjects, topics, projects and activities. It has been planned in a way which will work at home. We have set out each week's learning as a series of suggested daily activities. However, you could do more of the activities on one day and fewer on another.
